Features of BEng programmes

  • A wide range of choices
Under the common admissions scheme, the first academic year is common to all BEng students, in which they will enjoy learning foundations of engineering, which prepares students to pursue any engineering discipline in their second years of studies.

  • A broad-based, flexible Engineering education
A new, broader Engineering curriculum will extend students’ horizons and consolidate their technical foundations.

  • Academic advice
Academic advice will be provided to students to help them choose courses for the first academic year and decide on subsequent study plans.

  • Options for minors
Students can choose minor options in other engineering disciplines offered by the Faculty of Engineering or those offered by other faculties, subject to fulfiling their requirements.

  • Rich opportunities for experiential learning programmes and capstone experiences
